Euchre

Euchre is a trick taking card game played in teams with a partial deck of cards (all cards lower than 9 are removed). A good portion of the strategy in Euchre revolves around deciding the suit that will be trump for the hand. When a trump card is thrown, it has a higher value than any of the other suits in the hand. Euchre is also played with a left and a right bower. The card with the highest value is acutally the Jack of the trump suit. The card with the second highest value is the jack of the same color that is not in the trump suit. The team that choses trump wins a point if it takes 3 of the 5 tricks. If the team that did not choose the trump suit wins, it wins 2 points.
